The lore of SUPERHOT follows the player as they receive a leaked copy of superhot.exe, a genre-bending title that is sure to shake the world and can only be accessed with a crack. Launching the program, however, will unleash a unique metanarrative story about a hivemind similar to a virus.
Unique Temporal Stasis
The beauty of SUPERHOT lies in its simple but effective mechanics. Time moves only when you do, meaning that you can take your time to assess a situation and formulate a plan accordingly. This also gives you the opportunity to perform some genuinely astonishing feats, like using the stopped time to figure out how to avoid a hail of bullets before expertly taking out your assailants. This game was awesome!!! Definitely worth it on sale, although I don't know if I would have paid full price for it as it is quite short (maybe 3 hours), but it does have a lot of replayability. Great concept and a fantastic game!

TIME MOVES ONLY WHEN YOU MOVE.
Not entirely true as there is slight movement while standing still. This game is pretty much what it shows in the trailer.
The gunplay is fun, but my favorite is going in with your bare fists. Knock the gun out of their hand, grab it in mid-air and shoot them with their weapon...
Or do what I do, throw their own gun at them and punch them into oblivion as their head shatters into glass-like fragments.
It has a story, but I'm still working on that part.

A very different shooter game, where time stops (or more accurately proceeds in a very slow rate) whenever you remain motionless. Extremely engaging. Might sound like being slow and having too much time to think things through, but that was not the case. Every second counts even if you are not moving. Looking around still counts as movement even if you are not walking/running. Some levels can get pretty overwhelming and challenging but are very fun. Main story is quite short but same levels can feel quite different in each replay and there are also challenges and extra content. Totally worth it
