About Supraland

About this game

Experience a first-person Metroidvania Puzzle adventure that takes inspiration from Zelda, Metroid and Portal in Supraland. With this Steam PC key, you'll explore a large interconnected world in which most ways are at first unpassable until you find new abilities to overcome those limits.

NOT JUST ANY METROIDVANIA
A cornerstone of Supraland's design was to create abilities that will keep on surprising you by how many different uses they have. You'll no be given generic Metroidvania skills that have just one usage - if you combine your abilities, the possibilities become even bigger.

Supraland assumes that you are intelligent and doesn't interfere with your autonomy. The story is minimal, just enough to give you an overarching goal to pursue, and then sets you free.

A WORLD TO EXPLORE
Most of the game is about exploration and trying to find secrets. Often you will think you are about to get out of bounds and beat the level designer, but right there is a chest waiting for you with a very rewarding upgrade.

PUZZLES GALORE
The deeper you get into the game the more you will be facing puzzles so creative they are completely unique. Puzzle types that I already knew from other games were immediately rejected in the design process. And it's important to me that once you understand the idea behind a puzzle, you can immediately solve it instead of having to go through a cumbersome, frustrating execution.

FLUID COMBAT
The fighting mechanics are inspired by 'old-school' shooter games where you can strafe and jump around at high speed and never have to wait for your weapons to reload.

YOUR OFFICIAL SUPRALAND STEAM PC KEY GIVES YOU:

  • Metroidvania action-adventure puzzler
  • 'Overwhelmingly Positive' rated Steam PC game
  • Interconnected world inspired by the likes of Zelda, Metroid and Portal

Great game! Puzzles are challenging without being unnecessarily complicated. Great mix of platforming and puzzles.

It's got a really good feel to it. A lot of good puzzles. I like how it isn't as tidy and limited as many puzzles games are and you can use what they give you to take shortcuts and go places they may not have expected you to go.

Supraland is sandbox game, not just any though, one of the best indeed I’ve played in years. You are in child’s playground playing through his imagined story as an action figure. There is two faction the Red Kingdom and the Blue Kingdom. Blue Kingdom attacks the Reds for unknown reasons and the King of Red needs our help to sort this out. However, believe me its more than enough, it gives you simple straight goals, which will take sometime also puzzles to solve to progress. def worth buying roll on supraland 2

A really phenomenal experience - much better and more diverse gameplay than I was expecting. Quite a charming sense of humour too. Definitely worth checking out.

Its not a bad game, but its not very good either. Puzzles - pretty good, near the end the solutions become less logic/using what you've learned and more akin to a old point n click and no the good ones. Combat - not the point of the game but its pretty bad even with full upgrades World - Strongest part, lots of nooks n crannies to explore, not a fan that all the coins around the map seem to lose urgency soon as you get the upgrade making mobs drop coins.. whats the ponit trying to get those 3 high up coins when you can grind a afew mobs n earn 10. I'd say its worth playing if you've exhausted other similar games in the genre

Be aware of the whole room instead of the individual puzzle because sometimes they are connected, making you waste time in simple puzzles that seems impossible. The story is average, and waypoints in the map would be nice. Instead of the tubes or in addition I would like a teleportion system.

Back when Steam had a demo for this game, I had given it a try to see if I would like it. I hadn't expected it to be as much fun as I did once I adjusted the settings. I liked this game so much more than I thought I would. If you like puzzles, some platforming and exploration, I highly suggest you get this game.
