While this game is another carbon copy of mario kart, it does offer some interesting mechanics like racing with a companion, so you can "slingshot" each other if you stay in the stream of your companion, and your companion can do the same with you. Fun to an extent and it is a nice variant to the other hundreds of kart games inspired by mario kart.

TSR isn't a bad game, but it's a big step down from Sumo's previous Sega kart racer "Sonic & All-Stars Transformed." Instead of an expansive and interesting selection of tracks and characters from various Sega franchises, your stuck with Sonic... and everything that entails... Nobody plays the game online, so don't expect to be able to jump into a lobby and find any random people to race. The PC version also suffers from horrible frame pacing, for which there doesn't seem to be any fix. Pass on this one unless you can get it for practically nothing.
