The game consists of 4 episodes.
We are playing as Clementine one final time. She is teaching AJ to survive and soon she finds out he is a troubled child who never knew normal world. There are a lot of hard decisions but the game mostly holds your hand. We will be moving through a few 3D environments but the game is a linear adventure so most of the time will be spent in small areas where we either explore and find souvenirs or fight zombies the predetermined way. That is where my character died a lot. A few jump-scares from time to time and some WTF moments when it comes to the characters.
At the very beginning we will get to know kids from the school who each have pretty interesting stories to share and change their opinions towards us. It is easy to maintain the good relationships with them from the start but as it always goes, a problem arises and we have to act which changes the things go and who survives in the end.
Few characters here are complicated and will pose a threat to the main couple. There is also another couple we knew before. As we progress, we will learn our ways of teaching AJ are not always working as we imagine.
The ending was strong, the game indicated how it would happen.
