Ok if you're fine with issues that should have been fixed.

The last update was in 2019, but i bought the game in 2022 thinking it was complete. It has issues that should have been fixed by now. Specifically, -the bow misses shots if your target is slightly higher than you, because the aim isn't something you can control and it doesn't account for distance and arrow drop rate. -Items can't be deleted, and you'll get many junk items in the mid-late game. so i hope this doesn't hurt performence later, but i've had to just toss these items on the ground. they block your path and keep you from placing structures there. -Sometimes you miss an attack, and it's because the auto-aim has your character facing the oppisot direction of your target because it's really stupid sometimes. other times, you don't even know why you missed, but your ammo is gone none the less. -sometimes quest don't update, even though you did the latest task. it keeps telling me to loot a corpse that i already looted. So being that they're still selling this game, i find it a bit scammy to not fix these issues that you will certainly notice. Gameplay: aside from those issues, it is a game that you can enjoy. it's nothing top notch though. not compared to other games you could be playing. anyway i'm fine with the sale price of $6 that i got it for, but tbh even if i paid $15 i would feel like i coulda put that to something better. Multiplayer: been playing with my son and the MP works fine, only issue we ever ran into was sometimes i see him floating around in a sitting animation, and he can't hear the music box for some reason. both are minor issues. still, i think it plays better as a single player game though because we aren't able to share parts of the map we explored, upgrades to key structures aren't shared very well either. basically the game plays like the MP aspect is an afterthought.

The feelig is similar to Long Dark. Won't dissapoint if you like the genre. VIP Mystery Bundle was a real disappointment.

Nothing Special But Worth The Dollar

Played it for about a half hour and it's a little annoying to play. It's worth picking up for the dollar I paid for it and I'll give it more time in the future but I immediately understood what the majority of the negative reviews were talking about after playing it for the half hour I played it. It has potential though so like I said I'm gonna play it more for sure and would only recommend it at around a dollar or two.

Fun game. I played solo, so progress was a little slow. I can see with more players you can get a lot more done, but I still enjoyed playing.

While I kind of enjoy the game, I cannot bring myself to recommend it. I love the idea of the game, the graphics and most of the game mechanics. Exploring the word is quiet nice and there truly is a lot to see. It is fun to walk around with friends, experience the story etc. But as much potential the game might have, some dev decisions really ruin the whole thing for me: - the map is HUGE (which is good) but when you die you respawn in one of the very few houses/ bases and then have to travel all the way back to where you died with EVRY limited supplies (which often leads to you dying again). this is very frustrating and time consuming - there are a lot of enemies. at first the wolves slaughter you, once you are strong enough to actually deal with them, the game leads you further, where the wolves are even stronger. later there are bears that you can't really fight in melee but even with ranged weapons they are almost impossible. So effectively you end up running around the map, avoiding the enemies you are just not able to kill. And every now and then the game throws extra enemies at you, some genetically mutated ones that are almost impossible to kill - the story progresses soooo slowly. after 10 hours we have just crossed the bridge, instantly died and have not picked the game up since. it takes a lot of motivation to open the game and play as there are better muliplayer games out there - your inventory is very limited. even with 3 people and extra inventory in the 2 building inventories each of us has we are struggling so much to just carry essential items. we regularly have to travel back to a base with extra chests to sort our inventory, which takes a long time. We probably spent 2 hours (of 11 hours total) just taking care of inventory, building the house/ workshop to store stuff, etc - while the story is interesting and definitely there, it is often so hidden and spaced out that you either miss part of it or have forgotten about it when you find the next piece. I could not tell you anything about the larger scheme of things right now I cannot imagine playing this game on my own when it is this hard in a group of three already. The game has moments where it is fun, especially when exploring a new building, but that is so rare. most of the time the only things you'll see are snow, trees, stones and some animals (most of which you try to avoid). Especially for the price of 25€, I don't think the game is worth it.

I haven't played this in single player so it could be wildly off if you play solo. I played this over multiple sessions with a few friends, and it's mostly bug free at the start of each session, but as time goes on it would start lagging more and occasionally get literally stuck in some places. This is mostly minor though, since there is an unstuck command. Worth it for $1, I would say.
