About Torchlight

About this game

Welcome to Torchlight! A sleepy enclave founded on the discovery of rich veins of Ember: a rare and mysterious ore with the power to enchant or corrupt all that it touches. Emboldened by its power, legions of twisted creatures have begun to swarm up from the tunnels and caves below the town. Choose from three heroes in this Action-RPG and delve into the caverns below town for endless treasure and glory.

Your pet will carry items for you, help you in battle, and – with the right fish – can even transform into powerful allies!

Torchlight is what happens when you've got creative people from the original Diablo project making a new take on that classic hack'n'slash formula. Super responsive, addictive, and FUN gameplay from start to finish. Even if the story isn't on-par with its predecessor, Torchlight remains one of rare delights in this genre.

It is ok for each occupation to clear the game once, and it is a waste of time to play repeatedly with high difficulty, because every little strange blood thick work is high, often beaten to death, resulting in a very poor experience.

The gameplay was good, it was fun and not hard to learn. But I would say the controller is a bit hard, especially if I want to target the enemy. it's not rare for my attack didn't hit the target. I hope they can add the feature to move the character with a keyboard.

worth buying during the sale, though try the free demo quickly if you're unsure - free pets!

It brought back a lot of fond memories of playing Diablo 2, but in a light-hearted way that doesn't take itself too seriously. One of the features I really enjoyed about this is how you start off with a pet who will sell loot for you in town - this allows you to stay dungeon-delving for longer periods of time without needing to constantly waypoint/portal back into town to liquidate your common finds. That was one of the frustrating things in Diablo 2 - so many drops you had to leave behind and rot because it just wasn't worth the time trekking back to down to liquidate them. I initially tried the demo of this game for free and decided to buy it during Fanatical's brief sale. Seems like a prime opportunity lads, I say go for it.

Torchlight is a very entertaining classic Hack and Slash RPG,, especially when ran with Steam Community driven Mods. The game is beginner friendly, thus for anyone who's starting out or looking to play something fun , engaging and casual, Torchlight is a great fit. The Second title, Torchlight II offers even more options and graphical improvements than the first one, and ran with mods the game is equally enjoyable.
