I believe Warpips is a incredible game to play when you feel like playing something relaxing. Watching my little toy soldiers fight reminds me of playing with plastic green men, and that's pretty satisfying. Upon installation, you are told that as this is an early access game, some levels are much harder, and balancing is still happening. I do feel like that's true, but playing the game wasn't incredibly difficult and the concept was easy to grasp.

It is a cool little Tower Defense like game. You send out soldiers to battle other soldiers in kind of a wave style. You have the option of choosing different soldiers or vehicles and also having some buildings and utility like missles etc to thin out the enemy. It's a fun game for like 5-10 hours of play time

Cute little strategy game. Just place units and watch the battle unfold. Easy to learn and play.

Feels more like a mobile game than a PC game but it was a ton of fun. Feels kind of like a more action packed tower defense game in a sense.

Really good game that has a solid 10 hours minimum in it. And for a game where matches usually last 5 minutes, that's a lot of replayability. I got this on sale but in retrospect I would have paid full price. The random matches are where the game shines. You're just given a bunch of random ♥♥♥♥ and expected to McGuyver it to victory. And, unlike the campaign, this forces you to time & coordinate your forces better. The campaign is ok, but the difficulty scaling can can come as a shock to the player. The first 2/3rds you can sleepwalk through, but the last third turns into a high-tech "They are Billions" simulator that requires lots of firepower. Overall I like what I see and this is one of the few games in early access that is ready for market RIGHT NOW. I consider any future content a nice bonus.

The game is a pretty fun fast paced strategy game, it's easy to learn and i like the level up mechanics, one thing i didn't like that the units are consumables in the campaing.

A fun little game with still a few kinks needed to be ironed out. Keep in mind that it's still in early access when I played it. It's relatively easy to figure out how it works. I enjoyed the mechanic where you have to strategically decide which units and resources to use, because they're gone forever once deployed. However, I would have liked a warning before the final island battle. I didn't get to use a lot of stuff that I had collected with the expectation that the war will still be long.
