About Ziggurat

About this game

Developed and published by Milkstone Studios.

In order to become a powerful wizard, you'll have to enter the labyrinth and face all of its dangers to prove yourself worthy and become a proper neophyte sorcerer. In Ziggurat, the only thing standing between you and power is your rite of passage!

A Perfect Mix

You'll find many genres mixed and matched into the mix, such as fast-paced FPS with old-school vibes, dungeon crawling, RPG, and roguelike elements! All of this together helps keep the game fresh, challenging, and fun!

Defeat the Big Bosses

Go through the dangerous rooms that are full of traps and danger. Some of them will have treasures to help you in your journey, some will be your end!

Stay Sharp

Ziggurat takes the roguelike/lite recipe and builds on it. The biggest asset you have in this title is your combat skills; levels and randomly generated content are there just to add spice, not the core. This means no need to grind!

You Choose

The perks available in the game are designed to change the way you play: do you want more speed but less health? It can be done. Would you rather have some mana regen? Done! Increase the drop rate, refill ammo, and more!

No Inventory Necessary

FPS are the most fun when they're fast-paced and hectic. This means that, in Ziggurat, you won't have an inventory you'll need to keep managing and no items to stop and painstakingly compare. Just your weapons and your mana and health bars; that's it.

Cool Weapons!

You'll have a whole arsenal at your disposal, both in weapons and abilities! From staves to spellbooks, you'll have dozens of weapons to choose from and a ton of mana to blow on the enemies!

Such an underrated gem! I'd never heard of this game until it appeared in a bundle and man am I glad it did. A fantastic roguelike FPS in the style of games like Immortal Redneck with awesome randomly generated dungeons and fun / cool weapons! Fun, fast-paced and a lot of variety to keep the game from going stale. Sad that not many have played this (and Immortal Redneck fort that matter) little gem.

A first-person shooter/dungeon-crawler, Ziggarut is perfect for anyone who's a fan of the FPS genre, but is after a change from the modern combat setting. And you get to kill carrots, arguably the worst vegetable, so that's justified, and fun.
