Iceborne is almost a new game for hunters who have played the world, not to be missed, one of the points I appreciate the most is that the monsters are enhanced, for hunters who want to challenge, very enjoyable!

The expansion adds A TON of content to the game, and expands on pretty much every aspect of the base game. If you enjoyed the base game and you are looking to enjoy more of the same type of content the expansion is an 100% must buy, you will be essentially doubling your playtime and content with it. 5/5 DLC & Game as a whole! :)

It's a very fun and playable game, and you can buy it at Fanatical for a very low price, which means it's a good deal.

Avoided it for a long time due to hearing bad things about the design in Master Rank, but after caving in and giving it a try I have to say it is a much better game than its reputation would suggest. Even better now that all event quests are permanently available instead of on a partial rotation. I'd personally recommend avoiding the Defender gear and going through World more leisurely, for anyone starting fresh. Taking the time to learn the update weapon movesets and clutch claw mechanics in the easier portion of the game makes for a smoother transition into Master Rank proper.
