Astonishing semi-arcade and simulator experience that provides an invigorating adrenaline rush every time you drive. It contains many real rally references, official car brands and drivers, and beautiful tracks for racing. Mechanics feel good for a rally game. The game contains 13 countries, 52 special stages, every possible surface, more powerful cars, more demanding physics, longer races, and an eSports mode for racers to feel the haste. There’s an effort made to make the game feel like a simulator, but somehow it still leans towards an arcade feel. WRC 7 is a fun, relaxing racing game that can be enjoyed by hardcore racers and new players alike due to its forgiving nature. You will notice prominent names like Toyota, Hyundai, Ford, and other leading franchises.
! Gameplay !
With drivers sweeping through the roads layered with snow, tarmac, and gravel, they are definitely the bravest souls. But putting the same thrill and suspense in a game is a challenging process for every developer. KT Racer somehow established a balance between real thrill and arcade fun. The controls are quite easy to get the hang of, either on a controller, keyboard, or wheel. Variation in difficulty in a rally game is hard to achieve, as the rally itself is for committed drivers, but WRC7 provides the option to control car damage, assists, and AI difficulty. There are some downsides to the braking system, as it stops like a roller-coaster instead of a 1300kg beast. But this is only noticeable by hardcore drivers. You might feel a random bump that might unbalance your car, but that happens rarely. As the game provides a lot of different modes, you can easily grind some hours out of it. The roar of the beastly engines are quite pleasing to the ear.
