The game itself is fine. It is a new skin on the old game Balance of Power. You try to influence countries to gain control of the world in a Cold War setting. This skin is beautiful indeed. The gameplay is the same as the old game, which is tedious and lengthy. I just could not quite figure out what to do or how to play everything out. You might have to play a few times just to figure it out. Twilight Struggle seems to have managed this better with event cards to add flavor instead of simply choosing to fund states, build insurgency, or invade a country.
