The voice of the original Leon. S Kennedy has sadly died

RESIDENT EVIL 2 / BIOHAZARD RE:2
Gamers from across the world have paid tribute to Paul Haddad, the voice of Leon S. Kennedy in the original Resident Evil 2, who has sadly passed away.
The British-born Canadian actor, who also applied his skills to roles in the X-Men cartoon series and The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 in the 1990s, died aged 56 early this month, though it has not been confirmed whether this was related to him previously suffering from stage-three throat cancer.
The news was confirmed by Invader Studios, who had worked with Paul on survival horror game Daymare: 1998, which takes inspiration from RE2.
In the statement, the Italian-based developer posted on Twitter: "Paul Haddad, our dear friend and an icon among the RE community, has passed away recently. We've been truly honored to have the chance to meet and work with such a great man and a brilliant professional that he was.
"Rest in Peace Paul... You will live forever in our hearts."

Daymare: 1998 launched on Steam PC last September, and is due to be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 28th. The game features hardcore survival mechanics and hard to kill enemies, and requires a strategical approach to combat and puzzles - with multi-character points of view of the story.
Fans have been taking to Twitter since the news broke to pay their respects and share memories of enjoying Paul's performance in one of Capcom's classic titles.
@_Tompano tweeted: "I grew up with your voice echoing in my head with lines like "Ada Wait!" Your voice was, is & will always be with me. RE2 have done so much for me & you will be a part of me forever & you will be forever missed. Rest in Peace Paul Haddad, the original Leon"
@RYNOthePyro said: "I want to take a moment to say #RIP to Paul Haddad, voice actor of Leon Kennedy from #ResidentEvil2 (1998).
My sympathies to friends, family, and fellow #ResidentEvil fans; he will be missed, but he was always be remembered"
@616Patrick added: "RIP Paul Haddad my eternal Leon S. Kennedy"
Among those paying tribute was Nick Apostolides, the voice of Leon in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, who appeared very emotional in his video, in which he said the "Resident Evil world has lost a giant."
