About Cat Lady - The Card Game

About this game

Cat Lady - The Card Game is a card-drafting game about being the very best Cat Lady you can be! Collect different toys, food, costumes and cats in order to score combos and look after your herd of cats. Based on the physical game published by AEG, this digital adaptation makes for a great pick-up-and-play experience on PC!

Are you ready to collect cute-as-kittens cards in this totally claw-some card-drafting game?

Picking up three cards at a time, you must collect a selection of cats, food, toys, costumes and more to create the best cattery you can. Players take turns picking up cards, meaning you have to carefully consider what your opponents are likely to draft. With three different levels of AI to challenge yourself against, you'll need to master your card drafting skills!

The cards you draft make up different sets, with unique bonuses for collecting complete sets. Grab the right costumes before your opponents pick them up in order to score tons of victory points. Keep playing and score points by feeding all the cats in your cattery and adopt strays to earn more points. The game ends when there are no cards left in the deck and the player with the most Victory Points wins!

A short card game that is surprisingly deep with its strategies. Good for 2-4 players. Quirky card names and charming art. It's a game that doesn't take itself too seriously.

The game was entertaining and tutorial was easy to understand. Took a little at the start to understand how the points system worked though. I also liked the elevator jazz music that played on the background of this game. If you are looking for an easy card game to fill your free time with, this game is perfect for that

Cat lady is a simple and addictive little card game. UI might take you a moment to understand but the rules are simple and easy to get into, matches are fast and the artwork is cute! While it lacks multiplayer, with hot seat and Steam's new remote play together you can emulate that and play with up to 4 people. Good addition to your library if you either love card games... or cats and who doesn't love either? :D

It's kinda hard to win but it has some pretty cool rules and its nice for short bursts. It would take awhile to 100% everything on this though because you have to collect a lot of items over the course of playing

I have to admit that I am not too impressed with this one. It looks lovely and i really like the idea of it but as a strategy game and looking at the very grindy achievements... idk. In this game it is your job to collect cats, feed them their preferred diet, collect toys and costumes for them, as well as catnip. So far so good, not too much variety but maybe that is good because it makes the game/ strategy easier? Nope it does not. The game fails to tell you how exactly points are distibuted and why you sometimes get most points for most catnip collected and sometimes not? Why do i sometimes get first place when i have the same number of points as the person i am playing against and sometimes not? Why am i the player with most points over the entire game only for the bots to completely destroy me in the end? Even after 10 hours of playing this game i have more questions than answers. In addition you cannot really play strategically, especially when playing with more than one other player. You never know which cards will be pulled up next, the ones that were there during your last turn are all gone when you are up next. It is all very very luck based and up to chance whether you will win or not/ whether you'll get the cards you need. In addition the achievements are very, very grindy (win 100 matches, collect 70 white/black/orange cats, ect.) that get annoying pretty quickly. the game is also slightly buggy. You often cannot scroll through the cards you have collected, you sometimes cannot end the match and have to click on a few of your cards before the game allows you to do so. If you are looking for a cute card game you might like this one, if you are interested in the strategy part of it I cannot recommend it.
