It can be a bit tough to get into, but this game is one of those hidden gems where if you like story and characterization it's well-rewarded. Openly based on/influenced by Twin Peaks, the game follows an eccentric FBI agent in a small town with an unusual murder and a lot of interesting people. Personally I found the agent's inner monologues and some of the dialogues with other people to be very entertaining, and the story has a number of twists and turns that I was not expecting. It's definitely not for everyone, and is probably closer to a walking/driving simulator and visual novel than anything else, with combat and action taking a backseat in quality compared to the former.
