I've played this game for around 30 hours and am about 96% of the way through the map.
Elderand is an excellent 2D platformer with RPG mechanics to improve your stats and weapons as you progress. Backtracking is rewarded as you discover more items throughout the game. There are also hidden areas with useful items, bosses and secrets.
Biomes and enemies are detailed, colourful and varied and the controls are tight. Music is spot-on. The gameplay is not as challenging as something like Dead Cells but that is probably a good thing! Farming is possible and encouraged as the player will need some better items to progress further into the game.
Game works well with Proton Experimental and comes highly recommended from this penguin, 8/10.
