I like idlers that you can leave running while you do something else. I also like idle games when they are more active if the game is interesting enough to keep you hooked.
Sadly, Unboxathon didn't really hit either category for me. From the content it's very plain and boring and would make for a nice game you come back to every now and then just to see what pappened and what you can upgrade. But the game requires you to be present constantly. You have to pop bubbles, open boxes, click to collect stuff from the boxes. Nothing of that is interesting enough to keep me hooked and excited.
Yes, it's easy to 100% and doesn't take you longer than maybe 5 hours but all this time felt like watching paint dry....
