Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is a first-person, 3D, puzzle-platformer, where you play as a bug that can scale vertical walls using two 'elements', with various characters you meet along the way, and a fun story that... I'm not entirely sure what the heck I played. Achievement Hunters: about 5-6 hours to 100%, with only one achievement being a collectible achievement (effigies). Don't worry about the achievements until after beating it, so you'll have a fresh run without being spoiled, as there is a chapter-select and the achievements are quite easy to get. The collectible achievement may need a guide once you finish the game, unless you are the type to check every crevice without help; you don't have to beat the mission after hitting the effigies you missed, for it is retroactive, just quit out and move to the next mission. The game is quite good, other than a few bugs (yay, bug pun), as the title screen would be zoomed in, though fighting with the options, and changing graphics, make sure you set it to window mode (not full screen window), as it seems to keep the scaling when you quit the game. Had some heavy FPS issues too for some reason, but tinkering away and resetting the game seemed to fix it until I finished it. If you think this game is for you, there will be a sequel apparently, so you have that to look forward to.

Inspired by Franz Kafka, this great mix between weird fiction and magical realism casts you in the role of a man turned suddenly and inexplicably into a little bug and lets you explore a civilization built by insects but resembling our own. In many aspects Metamorphosis is crude, but the unsettling atmosphere of the strangely bureaucratic insect world, unusual music, solid voice-acting, and dialogues full of legal gibberish that illustrates said bureaucracy make the game unique.
