About the Charity: Why CoppaFeel!?
Chest. Boobs. Pecs. Breasts. Whatever you call them, we’ve all got them, so we all need to take care of them.
CoppaFeel! is the UK’s only youth-focused breast cancer awareness charity. They are on a mission to get every 18–24-year-old checking their chest regularly. Breast cancer can affect all chests, all ages, and all genders. By educating young people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, CoppaFeel! encourages everyone to check regularly to get to know what's normal for you, and empowers you to seek help from a GP if you notice a change.
When diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective, and survival rates are higher. Early detection truly saves lives.
Honouring a Legacy
CoppaFeel! was founded in 2009 by Kris Hallenga and her twin sister Maren following Kris’s secondary breast cancer diagnosis at just 23 years old, after being told she was "too young" to get the disease. Kris sadly passed away in 2024, but CoppaFeel! remains dedicated to honouring her legacy by continuing to spread this life-saving message across the UK and beyond.
