About Darkest Dungeon II: Inhuman Bondage

About this DLC

"Ancient sepulchres oozing with the gelatinous night soil of a thousand corpses."

Plunge your stagecoach into the long-forgotten Catacombs beneath the Kingdom and face a corrosive, oozing threat!

Features:

  • New mini region - The Catacombs, a high-risk, high-reward region playable on both Confessions and Kingdoms game modes
  • A new slime-sodden enemy faction unique to the Catacombs
  • New playable hero: The Abomination

The Abomination comes complete with unique trinkets, signature items, and a fully voiced backstory including playable flashback encounters

This DLC introduces a new Sluice-sized bonus region to Darkest Dungeon II, along with a fresh faction of enemies. Fight through these putrescent piles of slime to obtain unique combat items and trinkets to modify your heroes and gain the upper hand. The Abomination will help you explore the Catacomb's uncharted regions.

Unleash the beast within! The Abomination makes his return to the Darkest Dungeon series. This reclusive alchemist comes with a unique battle mechanic, allowing him to transform into a fearsome monstrosity - at the risk of spiralling stress!

Price is whack - Abomination is awesome

      Verified purchase
The cost of this DLC is way too high to justify the contents. If you can get this DLC for 50% off (or more) then it's an easy recommend. Anything more expensive is a bit nuts. The abomination is a fun character. He adds a unique twist on some general gameplay mechanics (one you'll be familiar with if you played the original Darkest Dungeon). No complaints here, a solid character. The new mini-region is such an afterthought that it's almost laughable to assume half the cost of this DLC is going towards it. There are some trinkets and relics that come with the mini-region, but it's one of those throw-ins where you could have sworn they meant to make it a free content update.
