The basegame is already amazing and this DLC just keeps on adding to it. you get a ton of new stuff and a decent amount of extra playtime.
The DLC isn't overly different to the base game though, if you didn't like the gameplay there you won't like this DLC either.

This expansion is a MUST HAVE if you're playing King's Bounty WotN. Just be aware that this "expansion" is actually a repackaging of the original campaign, and must be selected from the main menu. That means if you're halfway through a vanilla playthrough, you'll have to start over from scratch to play this mode of the game.
As for the expansion, it basically improves on every aspect of game progression, including individual unit levelups, reworked units, and map redesigns. Unfortunately, there are some glitches and crashes that are likely to happen, and reasons are generally unknown (random crash to desktop, falling through scenery, etc.). Just save often, and you'll have a blast!
