It's like a mix between Musou games and the Yakuza series with a splash of parkour.

It was fun and simple to get into. I'm terrible at even the mildest parkour though, so I just resigned myself to not getting perfect clears on some stages.

Great game, never been to Taiwan but I kind of want to now. Everything is rather solidly done, cool combat. Lets face it, it is a C tier kind of game but for that it is very enjoyable. On sale I can recommend.

Pretty fun and colorful beat'em up, about a girl who learned her moves from watching Kungfu movies:D

I had a good time with this game :) I originally bought it full price on Steam, then once again here to give the key away to a friend. Worth it at full price or discount. The most fun part for me was how the combat feels, it is a bit like warriors games, where you fight horde of enemies, but with hand to hand combat, and it just feels very good! However most fights overstay their welcome. Every time you have to fight many little guys, cannon fodder. So, great combat, not so great enemy variation. You also get companions, you can summon by burning part of the meter. Which again feels great and looks great. It is very pleasant and colorful. Story is okay, they talk a lot during combat, and I personally don't like when they do that, cuz I have to read the subtitles or focus on the fight. If you understand either Chinese or Japanese then you're good. Voice acting is pretty good, but there are voices I just didn't like. Side quests involve a lot of fetch quests, running around the small confusing map, some are mildly amusing, some wholesome. Side activities involve eating, going to the movies, trying your luck with gatcha, which btw, a good amount of unlockables in this game, via quest, story and gacha. Overall, for an indie game, it is really good! A bit reminiscent of Gravity Rush for me, a game I love dearly! I hope there will be Dusk Diver 2 :) Good job devs!

Simple anime game that plays like a musou.

Dusk DIver takes it's inspiration from Persona and Yakuza and simplifies it with combat taken right out of a musou. It's on the shorter side and lends itself to short play sessions between other things.
