"King's Bounty: Crossworlds may be a more-of-the-same expansion, but it's also the best edition of the strategy role-playing hybrid yet released."

"Two whole new campaigns and orcs with extra abilities. Add the strong editing tool and you got all improvements made to Armored Princess. Still, it's fun and entertaining but...

Be sure to get this instead of Armored Princess! Crossworlds is the updated version of AP. Following KB: Legends this game takes princess Amelie, all grown up, as the main character. Instead of the Rage chest, the princess will have at her disposal a pet dragon! This brings new interesting mechanics and the player's skills are tweaked and updated for a better balance to the game. Besides these, some units can now be upgraded to their improved version (Monk -> Inq -> Arch), Orcs have Adrenaline, set and living item sets can be obtain, but most interesting part of the game are the achievements! Each of these achievements gives bonuses, but they aren't easy to get. One example is the achievement where you must finish fights w/o losing any unit. Getting this makes fights very interesting and teaches the player to focus on efficient fights because gold isn't that abundant in the first part.

As a HoMM fan, when I saw this game as a part of bundle, I immediately bought it and it was best spent 1 Eur I have ever spent. Since I installed the game, I played it every single day (currently played in total 24+ hours). Great game. It is like HoMM campaign where you do not need to wait for turn of enemies. And if you like RPGs too, this is for sure game you will love. There are also some cons e.g. boring beginning, which you need to get through, some dialogs are also boring. Biggest disadvantage for me is missing auto save after or before combat and also fights could be pretty long because of slow animations. If there is possibility to choose faster combat animation speed it would be great. Also monsters seem to me quite hard to defeat for inexperienced players in HoMM alike games even on lower difficulty. But HoMM funs will love that because it is not boring cause of it.
