About Platypus

About this game

Developed by Anthony Flack and published by Claymatic Games.

Platypus is a fast-paced retro-inspired arcade shooter in which you'll play as F-27 "Platypus", the final hope for your country. Tackle the levels alone or with a friend in simultaneous co-op!

A Tale of Invasion

The gargantuan city of Collosatropolis, which spans an entire country, can no longer expand its reach any further. Tall skyscrapers and air filled with thick smoke have made city living unfeasible — just imagine the parking! As a final resort, the Collosotropolan leaders decide that the only way to continue expanding is by invading the neighbouring country of Mungola — after all, they're just a small, defenceless country with little love for industries, what sorts of defence could they have?...

Play as the Venerable F-27 "Platypus"

Fight back the fearsome Collostropolan Battle Fleet as the courageous F-27 "Platypus", a single squadron of fighter planes dedicated to protecting Mungola at all costs. Use the power of the fleet at your disposal to shoot through the robust foe and protect your country at all costs.

A Formidable Army

F-27 "Platypus" might be a small team, but you'll have plenty of powers to your disposal, though none as powerful as teamwork. Team up with a friend and play in local co-op to ensure the protection of Mungola at all costs!
