About Rebel Galaxy Outlaw

About this game

Out of cash, out of luck, out on the fringe. Juno Markev has a killer to tail, a debt to pay, and more trouble headed her way. Rebel Galaxy Outlaw takes place in a greasy, blue-collar world of outlaws, truckers, cops and thieves.

Strap into a variety of spacecraft, settle a score in a filthy space-bar over a game of 8-ball, rock out to over 24 hours of music, and engage in white-knuckle dogfights.

In the Dodge Sector it’s hard to get by – and even harder to get even.

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is an open-world space combat adventure game, spread across the nearly 40 systems of the Dodge Sector. Play as a mercenary, a trader, a pirate, or whatever mix of the three you feel fits you best. With an engaging storyline and a full conversation system, you can follow the narrative, or ignore it and forge your own path at any time.

Engage in white-knuckle combat, and use the included Autopursuit function to effortlessly fly like an ace, instead of space-jousting for hours. Save up your credits, buy a new ship, kit it out, and then paint it in a fully-fledged 3d-painting application. Make a fortune exploiting lucrative trade routes. Join guilds, help or hunt those in distress, and buy and outfit your own space station. Grab a tip in a local bar and hunt for hidden treasure. In your down-time, shoot some 8-ball, play some dice-poker, or aim for the high-score in an arcade game in the local seedy watering hole. Flip through the 7 included radio stations and vast music library for just the right track to fit your current mood.

This game is gr8 fun, I'm loving it so far, it looks gr8 and you dont need the latest graphics hardware to run it, I would deff recomend. Dont confuse this with the older game, REBEL GALAXY,

Pretty good lil space game. Graphics are colorful & very nice. Nothing too in depth system wise but there is meat on this bone and has everything you'd expect, dogfights, markets between systems plus new ships and upgrades Very fun, one of the best soundtracks ever and it fits perfectly if youre fixin' on being a space outlaw.

A great old school space game - they don't make them like this anymore!

A fun, if slightly light on content, homage to space sims of the 90s. Enjoyable combat, awesome soundtrack, and strong visuals.

Cartoony space game with no direction. Only direction comes from steam community.

As someone with no experience in this series, I'm confused how this is at least the (second?) installment. The game seems to present the user with two different personas. On the one hand, the art direction for space based activities is fun, engaging, and a tad bit cartoony. The main story and navigation is anything but this. Some games hand hold, this game explains almost nothing. You are given a loose story and told to set off into the stars with a ship. But then the task of figuring out how to complete missions, what to do in space other than quick-teleport to your destination, or really how this is a game and not a menu system with extra steps is left as an exercise for the reader. The saving grace here is the Steam community that will, if you're interested explain how to play the game. For me personally, there's not a lot here to make me want to engage that heavily. It looks like it *could* be fun, but you'll need to put in the time to figure out how.

Fun arcade space-sim with really cool customization options for your ship. You can even add your own music tracks, I think more games should do this.

Simple space combat and trading game with great visuals and audio

The game is very simple and it's obvious that it was made for consoles. You hold a button to automatically pursue an enemy and as long as your huge crosshair is close to the enemy, it also automatically predicts projectile trajectory for you. You can turn all this off if you want, but then the game becomes tediously difficult, one enemy may take forever to kill. It feels like neither choice is correct. That said, it looks gorgeous and has cool sound effects. The art style of ships and the universe are great, it's very colorful and striking. The story is okay. There aren't very many ships to try out and the way equipment for your ship progresses is extremely linear. More expensive = better, almost all of the time. Get the game if you are really desperate for a space combat and trading sim, coupled with a good discount. Otherwise, I cannot say that it has much replayability value or longevity. Superficially pleasing but gameplay is simply not deep enough.
