About this game

Welcome to the forest,
O Bearer of Light.

Come and see
beings of fairy tale
who welcome thee.

Dancing grasses, laughing flowers,
in hope and tears, the Forest cheers.

Come and hear
stories and wisdom,
treasured so dear.

Stay and ponder, stay and wander.
Learn the wisdom, reach the answer.

Come in deeper,
O Light Bearer,
into the Forest's heart.

Where the light fails to penetrate
and the truth slumbers so deeply.

Come and find...
find the Mother.

I am really not a fan of point & click games but this one captured my attention with its BEAUTIFUL graphics. And I have to say that I was not disappointed. The game looks beautiful, the music is amazing and the story - while a bit basic - very nicely told. Even the mechanics/ puzzles of the game are well done (this is usually the reason why I don't like point & click, it's a whole lot of trial and error until you finally figure out what you are supposed to do). The only thing that annoyed me was the weird voicelines the characters have. Weird short japanese (?) audio tracks that play everytime a character says something. After a while these were really annoying and you can't get ridd of them if you don't want to lose the music as well. One playthrough takes about 2 hours, you have to decide yourself whether or not you want to pay the full price for that or not. :)

gorgeous as can be, with an interesting delve into folklore that I was not familiar with whatsoever going in.
