Another fun Lego game

This is a solid Lego game. If you have played a Lego game before you kind of know what to expect. That said the combat in this one is a little more complex than the others with several different combat moves you can perform as well as a combat skill tree you can upgrade to improve the effectiveness of the different moves you have. Its still fairly basic but honestly its a nice addition. This one is based on the Lego Ninjago movie and the cut scenes are basically snippets from the film. Given the style of the movie and of the game, the scenes actually fit pretty seamlessly into the game. If you are a fan of the movie then playing through this will come with no real plot surprises but as games that let you play the movie go it is solid. I like the Lego game series a lot, they are light on challenge but a good fun casual romps and even better with co-op. They are also super kid friendly so are a good choice for families and I imagine co-oping this with a kid would be a hoot.
