I originally owned this game back on the PS3, but never got around to buying any of the DLC. Now having an all-in-one bundle on a more modern system I play is very handy, not to mention very cost-efficient, compared to buying all the DLC individually for many times the cost of the base game (like some other Koei Tecmo Musou entries)! Still plays rather similarly to what I remember on the PS3, which is a good thing, it seems like a decently handled port (which can be rare for KT games on PC). Just one thing to note, it starts off with the Japanese-default O to confirm / X to cancel setup on your controller. But luckily, they thought ahead to include an option to swap those in the options for the typical US players, like myself. Overall, great game, tons of characters to unlock and play, would honestly rate it above Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate unless you really want all the Greek gods to play (which are exclusive to that game). Also, be aware that there is no online matchmaking like the original release of this game on consoles, there is only local coop available (which is understandable since this is an older game, IMO).

It's about what you normally come to expect with the Warriors franchise. Melodrama, over the top action, and button mashing. It doesn't take many risks, but if you're a fan of what the Warriors franchise has put out in the past, you'll probably like this. If you are not a fan of the franchise, this will not change your mind. It runs fine, it's what you expect. Recommended for fans, but not many others.

An excellent mashup of Musou's two main subfranchises (Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors) and a number of guest characters that brings together the core experience with plenty of small but enjoyable tweaks. With just over a gross of characters, each with their own unique moveset, there's a lot of beat 'em up fun to be had here. If you dislike Musou, this game isn't going to change your mind- but if you enjoy it, you'll find it's one of the best core experiences out there, and is teeming with tons of content to keep you entertained.

First thing's first, this port has a bit of a technical hurdle if you're unlucky and don't get it functioning right out the gate. After fighting with it for a couple hours I find it to be one of the best in the entire Warriors franchise, including the license game series. My top 3 are this one, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2, and Age of Calamity. Very solid gameplay, took a bit of getting used to the difference in button layout but that's just normal when switching between newer and older games.

Sadly im writing this review from memory, I havn't played it in years. On the plus side, i know it's so good!! i just bought it for two of my friends. I love this game so much. This series is by far my favorite.
It's lacking co-op multiplayer
If your a fan of any of the warriors games, highly recommand.
