After an eight-year absence, witness a brand-new adventure in the action RPG Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA. With this Steam key, players will follow the exciting journey of Adol, who awakes to find himself shipwrecked and stranded on a cursed island. It's a decently fun Action RPG with some rough edges. Watching the trailer videos gives you a good idea of what you're getting into. It has fairly focused play and story, but it provides you with plenty of interesting side things to do, if you want. If hunting for ingredients for side activities isn't your thing, this may not have as strong of a play for you.

This is my favorite RPG of all time. Not only do you get a great ARPG, but you also get some fun arena style modes. The world is gorgeous. The writing is almost always great (aside from some bad anime tropes). And the content kept me busy for about 100 hours on one playthrough.

I haven't played much of the game but I can say the combat is great.
It's fluid, lets you attack in mid-air and it's fast, which is exactly what I was looking for.
I would recommend it for the combat alone.
The character switching mechanic during combat is also pretty interesting since different enemies have a character they are weak to due to damage types.
