About LEGO Batman

About this game

Developed by Traveller's Tales and Published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Ever wanted to wield the power of the Dark Knight in all his blocky goodness? Well you’re in luck with Lego Batman: The Videogame, the 2008 action-adventure game that lets you live out your vigilante dreams in a Lego Gotham

An Original Story

Whilst many of the contemporary Lego games tell their own story, Lego Batman: The Videogame is famed for being the first from the development studio Traveller's Tales to tell an original story, rather than use an existing story as a framework.

The Dynamic Duo

Take control of Batman and Robin as you battle against a myriad of famed villains from the DC universe. After a major breakout, these villains have split into three gangs, each with their own schemes, and it falls to Batman and Robin to thwart their evil plans and throw them back into Arkham Asylum across three distinct campaigns.

Friend and Foe

If being good isn’t quite your speed, however, Lego Batman also features a villain campaign that plays alongside the main story. Play as the leader of the aforementioned villain gangs in a story that overlaps with the Hero campaign to create a sense of continuity. Will you be Gotham’s downfall? Or will the Big Bad Bat get in your way once again?

The key worked, but the game wouldn't stop crashing so I can't get past the first level.

I have always loved the Lego franchise, and this game is no different. I enjoy the depth of the story, the humor, and the replay value. This is not a watered-down version of a Lego title, there is a lot to do and plenty of characters. That is what drew me to this game, over 50 characters to play as (if you unlock them). The good news is after the first level, you already have a few new characters and perks.
