For The King: Lost Civilization Adventure Pack

Edit: After playing through the whole thing a few more times: Beware before you buy this DLC, it really fecks up the whole game. We spend the last few fights healing the whole group, getting turned into stone, bleeding, heeling the beeling, getting poisoned, healing the poison, and ending up without anything usefull in our inventories. While the beginning can be kind of fun (nothing like the base game game modes though) the ending is solely frustrating and annoying. We've had two characters turned to stone at the same time, 3 characters die without being able to do anything against it because EVERY SINGLE ENEMY was able to take a turn before any of us could. We've only ever played the DLC with the easiest settings (less chaos or whatever it's called here, more lives etc.) because it was no fun otherwise. This has also never been patched, even though a lot of player have commented on this. --- I'm honestly a bit torn on this one. The DLC includes a new campian, new "bosses" (idk what they are called in English sorry), new enemies, weapons, the work... The campain is one of the less interesting ones (the dragon and kraken are a LOT cooler tbh). It's very repeatative and not that demanding compared to the ones in the base game. It also feels a lot shorter. The new mechanics (sickness) are pretty cool though and not too frustrating as you always lose some stats but gain others, it's fair. The enemies are designed nicely and they are very fitting for the new location of the story (jungle). Some of them, however, are very strong (cobra gives 3 poison at once, panther gives a lot of bloodloss at once (2 or 3)), which is very frustrating as there never is enough ginseng to heal all players. The main problem of this DLC is that it made the game a whole lot harder. The enemies now almost always move first, they are often of a higher level than the party and deal more damage. It was challenging before but with the DLC now, the game feels TOO hard. They already turned that down a bit (maybe they will change even more in the future, we'll see) but you should be aware of this before buying. If you think FTK is too easy, this is the perfect addition for you. If you think FTK is hard as it is and you regularly change game settings to make it easier than think twice before you buy.

a simple game..fun for co-oping with buddies over lunch..yet big enough after a year still playing it for varietiy,,even bought it a second time..(transfered from epic to steam version(had to start over,,but didnt mind)...i stopped playing a year ago..picked it up and started again,,nostalgic....

The perfect DLC to start off with for the game.
