A great expansion for those looking to get a little more out of Solasta. Both new classes offer a verity of gameplay options with the Druid's focus on nature magics and the Barbarian's focus on new and exciting ways to hurt your enemies through physical violence. Half Orcs are also a great addition for those of us who refuse to make Elves or Humans because we enjoy flavor ^_^

This DLC is not a good addition to the game. The new classes, Barbarian and Druid, are what they're supposed to be, I suppose. My dislike of druid comes from both personal preference, and game experience. Wild shape just doesn't work, as you lose all the versatility and gain almost no benefit. Barbarian is pretty good.
The plot of this DLC is terrible. There's no compelling story at any point from beginning to end. It pretends you have to choose which faction to support, but you really don't until the final choice. There's a lot of tedious moving back and forth from location to location. While there are some new enemy types, which is great, the battles feel uninspired and repetitive. There aren't really any that challenge you in interesting ways.
Solasta is a great game, Primal Calling doesn't improve it.
