So you're wondering if a gore mod is necessary for total war 3? Why was it not in the game or free dlc like bretonnia? Simple, Germany as an example does not allow graphic content by law so in order for the game to have this it had to be purchasable. So with that out of the way, yes it is worth buying. I know what you're thinking, oblivion horse armor dlc 2.0? Thankfully no. Although it's not necessary it does add a lot to the khorne factions in terms of immersion, because you can't have blood for the blood god or skulls for the skull throne without blood, decapitation, dismemberment, bifurcation etc. In summary, is it essential? No. But is it fun to see skarbrand cut an enemy lord in half and punt their torso into orbit? Yes

Warhammer 3 is an excellent game. However, this DLC is such an important piece for an absurd amount. Had it been less than a dollar it would be more worth it for a feature that should have been included with the game.
