The Oddworld franchise tackles a lot of real-world themes, including slavery, substance abuse, animal testing, and spirituality, among others. Usually played from the perspective of Abe — a Mudokon worker born into slave labour. It's not all darkness in the games, however! As it's filled with fun gameplay and quirky humour.
