Cooperative Multiplayer
You can play solo or with up to three other players. Each one of you will control a hero in combat but all of you will have to work together and decide what's best for the group... will you help the farmers against a group of small fiery demons or will you search among the ashes for nice loot?
Assemble a party of Heroes
Choose among 12 unlockable characters and form your party. Each one of them has his own cards, items, mechanics, stats and strengths... it's not the same to play with a fire wizard than a shadow mage, would you play with two healers or rather play with a damage-oriented group?
Dynamic Deck Building Rogulite
More than 500 upgradeable cards and 200 items to choose, will let you customize your heroes with different builds: poisons, bleeds, defensive skills... there are a lot of combinations that you can apply to each hero.
An envolving adventure
Each game will be different. Take a path, fight your way through it, complete quests and the world will evolve in front of you. Lots of hidden places and mysteries to be solved await you in Across the Obelisk

i think this might be my indie game of the year. the classes and builds you can make with all the cards are great. and even better the devs knew what's up--everyone in the party gets the same progress so your friends are unlocking cards for you on the classes you aren't playing.

Really compelling party-based deckbuilder, sort of a combination of Slay the Spire's format with an almost Darkest Dungeon combat dynamic. This is the dangerous sort of game that makes five hours mysteriously disappear after you start a run. Strongly consider it if you're the kind of person who loves fiddling with character builds, as all four characters in your party have separate decks to manage. If you don't like that level of fiddliness, there's also a co-op mode where you can play with up to three friends and manage fewer characters/decks per person.
Aesthetically, it's very nothing. The music is generic, the art and UI all screams "free-to-play mobile game" which is not a fantastic look. If you're playing this game, it probably isn't for the look or sound.
As a roguelite, it loses a couple points for the game being prohibitively brutal without metaprogression--it seems like it's possible to win on a first run, but you would have to be going in with really, really strong knowledge of the game already. It took a few runs' worth of accumulating carryover currency and perk points before it really felt like you could succeed in the later acts. But overall, I'm really enjoying my time with it and can see myself putting in 150+ hours, which says good things about it.
