Join Marie as she attempts to save her alchemy studies after nearly failing them! A kind professor gave her one last chance with an atelier; now it's her only opportunity to win the class by... setting off on an adventure?!
Unlike actual classes, where you're bored and scribbling nonsense in the back of notebooks, in Atelier Marie, there's only fun to be had! Collect ingredients, accept quests, battle enemies, and reach for the ultimate alchemy goal... in a fun way!
To make sure newcomers and old fans of Atelier Marie can enjoy the title once again, the game has been revamped in many areas: character designs and event illustrations look better than ever, especially with the newest 2D animations! And to make things even better, stages and characters have been modelled in 3D, so you can enjoy all their adorable chibiness as they explore!
Not everyone cares for prettier characters and areas, but almost everyone can enjoy a nice update to mechanics and gameplay, and Atelier Marie has it all! The tutorial and navigation have been improved. Additionally, to better fit the demanding and hectic lifestyle of most people, the collecting and exploration have been improved, too!
That's not all, as previous fans of the title have more reasons to pick up the game once more, not just to look at the adorable mini characters: there are some new additions to the game! Namely, there's the Unlimited Mode, which accommodates to a more relaxed playstyle and new events to unlock!
If you're looking to get some extra goodies along with your adventure, you can consider getting Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg's Deluxe Edition, which includes the Another Look costume set (which has six different outfits!), the Gust Extra BGM Pack, and the original game!
Note: Keep in mind that the original port of the game can be purchased separately to avoid any double purchases!
