Beyond Sunset

I really like the look of this game but after just 2.5 hours, i am merely annoyed and frustrated. here is why + the game looks really cool + there are many safe points scattered over the map and if you remember to use them you never have to repeat much if you die + the game offers multiple difficulty levels + there is a story and side quests you can do - the game doesn't really guide you. there were multiple points where i was lost and didn't know what to do and the game didn't offer any help. - on easy difficulty, the normal enemies barely do any damage but the first boss will down you within seconds - even though there is a story, i have to admit that i don't remember any of it - weird, oddly difficult platformer moments While the game started out great and i really enjoed it, the experience quickly changed. After running around the map for ages because i didn't know what to do (there is a guy on the phone who is supposed to help but he just tells you the step you just completed), finally finding where i was supposed to go by accident, i landed in a bossroom. i thought it could only get better since the game finally had direction again, only do be killed immediately. i am already annoyed by the game and this boss doesn't make it any better.... so while i enjoy the weapon handling and movement, even the maps, the general gameplay so far has been very annoying and frustrating and i cannot recommend the game.
