Im not one to finish story campaigns. I usually buy games for the multiplayer, but this game got me hooked immediately with the prologue. Once the real game started you quickly realize that everything you thought about how an RPG works does not apply here. Choices heavily matter, everything you do changes the way the game treats you, from how long you train in combat(absolute must), what quests you completed.. or didn't, to how you dress when you talk to nobles/peasants, how intimidating your armor is, did you learn to read or not, how drunk you are, even how often you bathe yourself.
Looting is not like other games, if you're a loot whore you will quickly realize you cant carry everything.. even with a good horse so you need to learn what's valuable and what's not.
And lastly, the dialog in this game is absolutely hilarious and if you don't party with the uzhitz priest then you've wasted your money

I've heard lots about this game. Even played in 2019 when there was a free demo on Steam. Finally bit the bullet and bought this with all the DLC available for it. I love it so far! I've only got about 5 hours in but the gameplay and story is great! The only downside I have is that it is a very time consuming game. With my work schedule and personal life I can't just sit down and play it for 30-45 minutes. I feel like I need a few hours at a time to really get into it. Definitely recommend it!

I'm only 10-12 h in I can't believe how great this is! If you're still having second thoughts about getting this game, I can only say that it's one of the titles that deserve a full price.
You will meet great characters, the story fits the time frame, you're not some super-powered character (just a blacksmith's son) and the small details to the surroundings add a great touch to the immersion. I'm not going to throw in spoilers, but pay attention to the houses, their backyards or the roads. :)
If the sequel will come, I can only wish they do a job as good as they did with this masterpiece.
