Persona 4 Golden

Very good game has an incredible story very good side quests and combat is very good hours and hours of playtime

Fantastic jrpg was was made even better by the golden upgrade. A fun cast of characters with a great story and battle system was a treat to play through for a second time! My only complaint would be that I don't really like randomly generated dungeons but this game seems to make him work

Good port of a great game that, like most Persona games, has a flawed story and cast of characters but impeccable style and vibes

This was my first experience playing a Persona game, and they are worth all the hype they receive. Part Turn-Based JRPG, Part Dating/Friendship sim, part detective/investigation, all fun. This game is incredibly unique and complex in design. You'll be gardening, reading books, making friends, developing romantic and platonic friendships, cooking food, taking tests at school, studying for said tests, building models, shopping, going to the movies, grabbing a cup of coffee, swimming, fishing, completing Quests for the people of Inaba, and of course, grinding in dungeons and honing your battle skills. You get 1 year to do all of it before the story comes to an end... depending on which of the many endings your story leads you to. Do not expect to just blast through the game in a few hours or days or even weeks. This game is for players who enjoy the long-haul and rewards that are difficult to obtain. It took three entirely different playthroughs for me to obtain the platinum achievement with three entirely different endings and relationships. It cannot be done in one single play. It definitely ranks near the top of my favorite JRPGs of all time, and would make the top 10 or 20 of games in general. The characters are flawed and human and worth literally spending time with to get to know them. There's nothing entirely unique about the battle system and dungeon exploration, but it's well crafted and offers true challenges for newbies and masters of the genre. You will laugh. You might even cry a little. And you will keep coming back for more to unlock what you missed the last time. Also, if you love bear-puns... this is absolutely the game for you. It's Bearfect!

The game is part of my top 3 rpg series and it shows. Starting slow with tons of cutscenes, you will soon be engulfed in a gripping story. You will fight using Personas in a true turn based system. Music is absolutely banging, one of best soundtracks in a RPG. Themes are also pretty mature and voice acting is phenomenal ! And just when you think : "Well I think I must be close to the end with how things are going", after about 30 hours of gameplay, the game throws you a curveball that pretty much gives you another 30 hours or so to do. You have to balance your days between school, work, raising social links with your friends so they become more useful in fights, some mini-quests and running the dungeons. Truly a gem that any rpg fan should get !

Amazing game put in over 100 hours and just can't get enough of it.

persona is a very good rpg and has some of the best music of any video game soundtrack

This was an alright JRPG. To be honest, I don't really understand the hype: the story was decent, and the gameplay was fun, but it was super repetitive and didn't really stand out to me too much. I think I'm glad I played it, and I recommend it, but only if it's deeply on sale
