A BESIEGED WORLD
Tails Of Iron is a hand-drawn RPG set against the backdrop of a warring kingdom. You play as Redgi, the heir to a Rat Throne who wants to banish the leader of the Frog Clan, Greenwart. You’ll have to destroy Frog Zombies and huge grubs to get to him though. Study your opponent, block, execute and react to everything to survive this terrifyingly vicious world.
SAVAGE FIGHTS
It’s not just your standard fights here though. You’ll also face off against massive and vicious boss fights that all have their own attack patterns and unique challenges. Learn the patterns, become smarter than them and eventually kill them.
FANCY A BREW?
To help you along the way you can use Redgi’s keep run by his brothers, Rem-Rem, Bam-Bam and Dug. Rem cooks health upgrades, Bam crafts new weapons and Dug gives you new quests. Together, you can defeat the Greenwart and take back your kingdom!

2D souls-like with great presentation and production values. It's a shame the combat mechanics are very restrictive and the gameplay ends up feeling too repetitive. It doesn't help that to progress the main story, you're forced to do a bunch of boring fetch quests. Still, the game has its charm.

Tails of Iron is a decent 2d souls-likemixed with metroidvania in the way that you have a few attacks, a block and a dodgeroll. The difficulty isn't on the same level as other souls games so don't worry about that. If you are looking to live out your Redwall dreams this could be for you.
