About BioShock Infinite

About this game

Developed by Irrational Games and published by 2K.

In Bioshock Infinite, the player controls Booker DeWitt, an ex-private investigator who has been enlisted by a mysterious client to rescue a girl named Elizabeth from the flying city of Columbia. Built by the pioneering scientist and industrialist Zachary Hale Comstock, Columbia was intended to be a shining beacon of American exceptionalism, a floating world's fair that would display the might and ingenuity of the United States to the world. But things have gone horribly wrong in Columbia, and now it is up to Booker to find Elizabeth and get her out before it's too late.

A Tale of Twists and Turns

As former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, your mission is to rescue Elizabeth, a young woman who has been imprisoned since childhood. But this isn't just any ordinary rescue mission; Elizabeth is no ordinary girl, and Columbia is no ordinary place. The mission to rescue this helpless girl might become something far more complex than Booker DeWitt signed up for, as local authorities place a bounty on his head and call him the "False Shepherd" destined to corrupt Elizabeth and overthrow Columbia.

Bioshock Takes to the Skies

Leave behind the city of Rapture and explore the Bioshock franchise from a brand-new perspective — Columbia; there are no Big Daddies nor Little Sisters here. Fight all-new foes and experience a story branching into new heights!

The False Shepherd

Fight against the entire might of Columbia and use everything at your disposal to survive. Engage in RPG-focused fast-paced first-person shooter battles and use collectibles around the world to unlock new weapons, skills, and more! Create your unique fighting build and plow through Columbia's forces.

DEEP SEA TO GREAT SKY

This is one FPS that truly raised the bar from the sea depths to great heights without a flinch. The addition to rail riding is welcome by me. It's not revolutionary though for Infinite.
