Children of Morta sets its story in a distant land but copes with themes closer to our daily lives than one would expect. It is a story of simple emotions we all know so well and values more than sometimes we dare to admit: love and hope, longing and uncertainty, and ultimately loss and sacrifice we are willing to make to save the ones we care the most for.
Embark on the adventure of an extraordinary family of heroes. With the Corruption spreading through the land, guardians of the Mountain Morta have to stand up against the ancient evil. But... it's not a story about saving the universe. It’s a story about a valiant family standing together while the world around them is being devoured by darkness.

Decent roguelite, takes about 15-20 hours to fully complete including all achievements. Has offline and online co-op.
The skill trees and upgrades aren't very deep or complex however the charm and atmosphere of the game makes up for it.
If you're a fan of roguelites and pixel graphics you will probably like it.

Interesting somewhat abstract art style. Engaging game play with characters playing quite differently. Plenty of progression to be had. Difficulty level is a bit high but not to much. Combat is quite enjoyable. Game also has co-op including local co-op which is a big plus in my opinion. As a roguelike it also is surprising story rich. It is not all perfect however. Enemy and location variety is a little limited but still varied enough not to take away from the game's enjoyment. On the whole its a solid, enjoyable game.
