I heard that this game was an easier entry in the Soulslike genre, and I hadn't played much the other ones, because they were too time and energy consuming compared to what I had available at that time. I purchased this game with a friend so we can play coop (using the seamless coop mod) thinking it would be even easier. Fast forward to the first story (beatable) boss, we get our asses kicked like never before.
The future of our friendship is uncertain now

Many will pick up this game and rage quit over the difficulty. However, if you persevere, you will get faster, dodge better, gain patience, watch for your openings. You will still be crushed, but you will get up, smile, and say "try that again bitch, see what happens" 6 dead gods out of 6.

Best souls game I’ve played honestly I found them truly frustrating this one is a little forgiving. Why I say it is forgiving is simply being truely open world if you run into a boss you can’t handle, you can simply use a tactical retreat(run away). Take some time learn how the mechanics of the game work level up then chose to take on that boss that will no doubt kill you one hundred and two times before you finally defeat it. It’s your choice your not locked into having to defeat that boss or continue with the narrative right away
