Kombat Pack 2
Kombat Pack 2 grants access to 4 new playable characters, as well as previously released content including Goro, Kold War Skin Pack and 2 Klassic Fatality Packs. New characters include Horror icon Leatherface, and the Xenomorph from Alien . Bo’ Rai Cho and Triborg the Cyber Ninja complete the offer. A solid fighter with plenty of depth and content, lacking in customization and optimization. The combat system itself is fast and vicious, a nice upgrade from the last game. There aren't many unlockable characters or costumes though, mainly all of that stuff is unlocked already and you're left with an assortment of concept art and the like to unlock in the Krypt. This leaves little motivation to grind. As far as graphics, the game literally looks better than it's cutscenes. It's fantastic. The loading times however, are not. I find it inexcusable to have loading times over a minute on a modern fighting game. Ultimately this is a solid entry in the MK franchise and well worth playing if you're a fighting game fan

I like the format of the game. The way it moves from dialogue and cut scene to fights in story mode is really good. My only gripe is that I was playing on steam deck and the audio seems to go out of sync during some cut scenes. That aside it’s tip top

A great fighting game with good graphics, not so good animation and fun gameplay. The roster is a nice mix of old, new, and obscure characters, although I wish there were more Mortal Kombat 4 characters playable, since the story is a retelling of that game. The guest characters are a great fit for the roster due to the more grim and dark aesthetic of the game. Even though the visuals are exceptional, the animation outside of cinematics is not as pleasant. The characters are very stiff in motion (for example, Kitana's crouching kick and Ferra/Torr's grab), despite the game having a very large budget. Overall, it is a fun experience and I am glad it is being played competitively and casually to this day. 8/10.

Great characters and story. MKX has a faster pace than MK11, which some players might prefer. The DLC characters are always fun to see what Netherrealm like to bring to life. Would recommend for a veteran player, or a brand new one wanting to try the series out. That being said you do need to know of some events from MK9 to follow this story properly.
