Repetitive and dull, Portal Knights might have nailed the mix of its elements if only it had more purpose and story elements. Instead, we get a survival crafter with RPG elements that has been better executed by the likes of the Dragon Quest Builders games.

The game itself is amazing. i love the gameplay and have spent almost 200 hours playing it over and over again. I loooove the building mechanics and have spent countless hours building a huge castle for all my characters.
The problem is that there is a bug that has been present for over two years at this point that has not been fixed by the devs, who rather spent their time releasing a number of DLCs. This bug corrupts your save files if you have cloud save on, which completely ruines all my save files TWICE until i understood what the issue was. This complete disrespect from the devs really icks me and deflects negatively on this game as a whole.
