About Spec Ops: The Line

About this game

Developed by Yager Development and published by 2K Games.

Spec Ops: The Line will put you in difficult moral situations where your decisions will affect the lives of the people around you. Track a strange radio signal to Dubai — the city which was wiped off the map just six months before due to a cataclysmic sandstorm.

Unexpected Message

After the sandstorm, the entire city was buried deep under the sand and became the world's most opulent ruin. You're sent along with the Delta Recon Team to infiltrate what is left of Dubai and find survivors. However, what you find is a city on the brink of war, and to save it and the people, you'll have to find the man at the heart of all the madness — Col. John Konrad!

Lead Your Team

As you lead your team of three people — Captain Martin Walker, Lieutenant Adams, and Sergeant Lugo — you'll discover their own personalities and story. Aside from offering their specialised skills, they'll give you a point of view about war: there are no good endings, just hard choices.

Through the Heat

Go through the heat of Dubai's desert with your team. Whilst beautiful, the land is dangerous thanks to its dynamic sandstorms that affect each level, adding a new notch of difficulty and challenge.

Get Better

Throughout your journey, you'll complete missions in order to get even better weapons and equipment. This helps make a steady progression into more difficult operations.

Multiplayer

Play the multiplayer campaigns, which bring new modes and environments that expand from the single-player experience!
