About Mafia: Trilogy

About this game

Developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games.

The Mafia: A trilogy is a fantastic option for anyone looking to experience the three titles! Play through the lives of Tommy Angelo, Vito Scaletta, and Lincoln Clay as they try to survive their choices!

Mafia: Definitive Edition

Experience the original Mafia game, which drops you into the Prohibition era — a time in the United States when it was strictly forbidden to produce, import, transport, or sell alcoholic beverages. Live through the 1920s and 30s as Tommy Angelo, and watch as the Salieri family offers rewards too big to turn down.

Mafia II: Definitive Edition

In a hopeful attempt to pay his father's debts, war hero Vito Scaletta becomes entangled with the mob during the Golden era of organized crime. So now, alongside his friend Joe, he must work to prove himself and climb the ladder of status.

Mafia III: Definitive Edition

Lincoln Clay's surrogate family — the black mob — has been betrayed by the Italian Mafia. Now, after years of combat in Vietnam, he'll have to build up a new family from the ashes and blaze a new path of revenge!

The close-to-perfect mafia game you'll just want to keep playing

I must admit I've only placed the 1st game but I loved it and quickly bought Mafia: Trilogy when I saw it on sale. I rarely care for shooter-style games, but the story, ambiance, graphics and the characters were done almost perfectly and felt movie-like but real at the same time. I finished the game in 3-4 days and enjoyed every moment of it. Only criticism I have is I wished some of the characters were fleshed out a little more. That said, considering the relatively short length of the game (10 1/2 hours) I think they did all they could and I definitely got attached to some characters like Frank Colletti.

A gripping trilogy about made men, crime, loyalty, hard choices and even harder actions. The first installment is brilliantly reimagined in the latest iteration of the series' game engine, with stunning visuals, crisp sound and amazing animations, while the second and third installments have received a touch of polish that has taken them from "great" to "awesome". Fair warning: the Mafia 1 remake needs some tinkering to avoid launching it through the 2K launcher, which otherwise tanks framerates without good reason, and the remaster of Mafia 2 introduces bugs and game breaking issues that you can avoid by simply playing the legacy edition instead (which you get for free with this package).
