Spirit Hunter: NG

It's a good game. As a visual novel, the game provides a good read through the whole game. The start may seem a bit slow since it presents the cast that the game will focus on. However, the game improves it's pacing and adds light-puzzle solving to the mix to form an experience similar to a point and click game. In addition, there is a "crisis choice" element that makes choose the right answer or die under a time limit adding some slight pressure. The game does not lag behind in it's arts department. The game has beautiful character designs and the background art provides solid atmospheric feeling to the game. Overall, the game is a pretty good read, it does not reinvent the genre by anymeans though. Its not a direct sequel to Death Mark so you can just buy and play the game without having to read the previous game. If you want a visual novel with a likeable cast and effective atmosphere then this is your game.
