First off, the main appeal of the game, its aesthetic is amazing. Its design, the sounds/music, the story, the atmosphere, I dig it all. The atmosphere is hard to explain in one word, the game isn't really scary and I don't know if it gives that dreadful feeling, but it gives you that instinctual feeling of "something is terribly wrong and I should not be here". On to the gameplay though, most of it lies in its puzzles which either serve two purposes, to help you move forward or an optional puzzle to get an item that helps a ghost cheer up or something. The first kind of puzzles are easy and I think that most of the time the official answer is to brute force some of them since they make it easy and fast to do, the second kind though is how you would expect optional puzzles to be: hard and/or hidden. But what I mean by hard I mean that I'm blind (not literally) and can't find anything that hints at a solution and what I mean by hidden I mean it's hidden, duh. They're so hidden in fact, I don't even realize I've solved it until I've already given a ghost its item and I question whether or not I have eyes.
