Among the best start, tempo wize, of the few "Tales of" games I've played so far.

I've only played a few "Tales of" titles yet; Symphonia, Vesperia and just a little bit of Zestiria. Symphony had a really, really slow start, but the summarized story is fantastic. Vesperia had a stronger start, but the manuscript were all over the place. While both these games hade fairly okay battle mechanics, the Zestiria one was so confusing I barely played it past the first hour. Tales of Arise had a really good start, temp wize, and the story seems coherent, at least while just a few hours into the story. Probably the best start, temp wize, of all the "Tales of" games I've played. I definately recommend this title.

A shonen anime transformed into a game.

It's my first JRPG and I really like it so far. It feels pretty much like playing a shonen anime with a lot of action and an intriguing story.

Really really really good. 100%'d it in 82~ hours, of which about ten to 15 was afk. The story isn't going to knock you over, but the combat is fun, the music is pretty good and while not a perfect evolution of the Tales formula, it does a really good job!
