"An exceptionally pretty if otherwise conventional JRPG with diverting combat. Not an all-timer, but worth a (re)visit."

"Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is just as charming and endearing now as it was when it first came out almost a decade ago. While it does look and play better on PC it...

"The game looks better than ever but plays the same, so newcomers to the series should not skip one of the best JRPGs of all time, I would be “brokenhearted.” On a serious note,...

Fusion of Pokemon and Studio Ghibli.

I love this game dearly. It is a fusion of Pokemon and Studio Ghibli. The story is heartfelt and moving and the game is a blast. I am docking it one star, because it isn't perfect. The catching mechanic of the game can be frustrating and it does require some grinding. However this gripes are small and I highly recommend the game.

Old game that hasn't aged amazingly gameplay wise but the story is great. The english voice acting is really well done but its pretty funny. MC sounds american, mom sounds british, lamp dude sounds scottish, best friend sounds like northern american, and his mom sounds southern american. A little too grindy for my taste but I'm biased because I don't particularly like grinding in games. I just cheated by editing the amount of consumables i had and the xp multiplier to make the whole process more enjoyable. Worth playing if you're a Ghibli fan

Made me feel seven again

I'm a huge Ghibli fan, so I'm definitely biased, but this game nearly makes me feel the same seven-year-old=wrapped-in-a-blanket feels as watching any of Ghibli's films. It was the first game I never raged at when it got difficult.

I purchased both games because I was interested in playing them. A friend told me that the games were great jrpgs and I always was interested in trying them out. I thought the sale was great opportunity to purchase these games and give them a shot.

Its good but has its flaws

Its a good game. Great even but it does have its flaws. Boss battles are a pretty big difficulty spike. Often needing grinding to over come. Its better to be over leveled at some points since if you are under leveled you will ran into problems. Items are fairly expensive as well making it hard to prepare for some of the battles. Other then that it has a good story and interesting characters and is fun to play.
